I have been in my particular industry for over 10 years and am ready to have my own small business and I want to be able to take advantage of benefits available to me as a disabled veteran. I have a business plan and just need help getting started.

Veterans benefits in starting a business:

Besides obvious Internet searches which you can do, here are a few more things:

1) I just received an email from the Vet Biz Resource Center promoting services which sound as if they might be of value to you. Suggest visiting:

"Created for veterans interested...in becoming business owners."

2) Check to see if you have a veterans office set up by the state government in the state where you live.

3) From a "startup perspective" I highly recommend, "Lower Your Taxes Big Time," by Sandy Botkin. In simple terms which I prefer, Sandy lays out foundational business information that you'll want to take advantage of, e.g. incorporating or working as a sole proprietor. And, lots more.
