Where do I go to find a company that can manufacture and drop-ship my product from an e-commerce website?
Posted by Kanastaal on August 14, 2011I am planning on launching an e-commerce business. Myself, along with a couple of partners, have developed a pretty unique logo design (currently working on the trademark). We plan on putting the logo on various product types. The plan is to set up the logo design with a manufacturer/s. I understand that there will be upfront costs to setting up the "screen" with the manufacturer. Once an order is placed on the website, the order will be pushed to the manufacturer, they will produce it, and ship it to the customer. The logo will go on many different types of products; shirts, hats, coffee cups, golf balls, etc., but beginning with t-shirts, hats, and vehicle window stickers to gain product recognition without overextending ourselves. Any suggestions?
Additionally, we live in Hawaii. But due to unreasonable state tax laws and out of control business requirements, we would like to register the business in Texas, but have the corporate office in Honolulu, Hawaii. With that, we will need a registered agent in Texas. I was pondering the thought of having a business attorney in Texas set up the business and serve as our registered agent. Anyone know a combat veteran attorney in Texas who I can work with?
Thanks so much in advance. I can be reached best by email by emailing me at JohnFarris@Kanastaal.com.
